Emergencies Requiring Police, Fire, or Ambulance: Dial 911

Lake County Sheriff's Office

Drugs Crime & traffic complaints

To the Citizens of Minneola:

My name is Lt. Greg Link and I am the supervisor of the Minneola Sector Office.

On September 12, 1995, the City Council for the City of Minneola enacted Resolution No. 95-07 that requests and authorizes the Lake County Sheriff's Office to initiate and assume the rendition of law enforcement within the corporate limits of the City of Minneola.  Currently Minneola has 11 Deputy Sheriffs plus me to provide for the needs of the community.  Sheriff Gary Borders has sworn to provide the residents of Minneola with the most professional and efficient service possible.  To achieve this level of service, open and honest communication between the citizens and the deputies working in Minneola is of the utmost importance.  It is my privilege to work with the citizens of Minneola in keeping our city a safe, beautiful, and desirable place to live.  The goal of keeping Minneola, a wonderful place to reside, can be achieved by teamwork between the cities residents and those deputies assigned to work here.  Please feel free to contact me with any major concerns or to express any ideas you might have.  I look forward to meeting and working with the citizens of Minneola.

Sincerely                                                                                                      Lieutenant Gregory Link                                                                                         Lake County Sheriff’s Office                                                                             Minneola Sector

  • If you need a Deputy Sheriff to respond to a non-emergency call, please phone 343-2101.
  • If you have an emergency, please phone 911.
