Sanitary Sewer System - Phase I

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN: That sealed bids will be received by the City of Minneola, Office of the City Clerk, located at 800 N. U.S. Highway 27, Minneola, Florida 34715; until
March 5, 2018 p.m. local time, 2:00 p.m.

Any bids received after the above time will not be accepted under any circumstances. Any uncertainty regarding the time a bid is received will be resolved against the Bidder. Bid opening will be promptly at 2:00 p.m. local time, March 5, 2018, at 800 N. U.S. Highway 27, Minneola, Florida 34715; at which time all bids received will be publicly opened and read aloud.

DESCRIPTION OF WORK: All work for the Project shall be constructed in accordance with the Drawings and Specifications prepared by Tetra Tech and the proposed improvements will be awarded and constructed, if award is made, under one Contract. Bids shall be submitted for the Work, which includes phase 1 sewer lift station including the associated gravity and force main, piping, valves, pumps, emergency standby diesel pump, controls, and all associated appurtenances described in the attached contract documents within the City, Lake County, and Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) rights of way and/or any applicable easements.

A pre-bid meeting will be held at City of Minneola, City Hall Council Chambers at 10:00 AM on February 16, 2018.  More information can be obtained at www.minneola.us.

BID SUBMITTAL: A single sealed bid shall be submitted for the work and labeled “SEALED BID C.R.A. SANITARY SEWER SYSTEM PHASE 1”.

A payment of $25.00 in cash or check payable to Tetra Tech will be required for each complete set of Bidding Documents on compact diskette (CD). This payment represents reproduction and handling costs and is non­refundable.

Any questions shall be submitted to burl.reardon@tetratech.com.  The deadline for bidding questions is 2:00 p.m. February 23, 2018. 

Addenda will be sent via e-mail to all parties recorded by Tetra Tech as having received complete sets of Bidding Documents up to twenty-four (24) hours before bid time.
