History:  On September 12, 1995, the City Council for the City of Minneola enacted Resolution No. 95-07 that requests and authorizes the Lake County Sheriff's Office to initiate and assume the rendition of law enforcement within the corporate limits of the City of Minneola.

Current Status: Lake County Sheriff’s Office Minneola District is comprised of one (1) supervisor (lieutenant) and eleven (11) patrol deputies.  We are a very diverse group of individuals that pride ourselves on working together as a team and providing the community of Minneola with professional services that ultimately make our City a better and safer place to live.

Lake County Sheriff’s Office is an accredited agency, and guide our daily activity based on our Mission Statement (see below).

Lake County Sheriff’s Office Mission Statement:  We will continually strive to maintain and enhance the quality of life in Lake County through service to the community, by working together to provide effective crime prevention, law enforcement, and judicial support.
