Minneola Cares Resident Supplemental Assistance Microgrant

The City of Minneola may receive up to $674,650 in federal CARES Act funds from the Lake County Board of County Commissioners. In anticipation of receiving these funds, the Minneola City Council developed a microgrant program to provide supplemental financial assistance to the Minneola households that have been negatively affected by COVID-19. Citizens who have resided within the City limits of Minneola since March 1, 2020, suffered a negative financial impact due to COVID-19, and provide a completed application on or before the deadline may be eligible for a supplemental microgrant.

The application period opens on Monday, November 2, 2020, at 8:00 a.m. and closes on Monday, November 9, 2020, at 5:00 p.m. Applications may be picked up in person at Minneola’s City Hall or Schoolhouse Library, downloaded by clicking on the hyperlink at the bottom of this page, or emailed upon request. Completed applications may be hand-delivered to utility billing, dropped off in one of the two utility payment boxes at City Hall, or emailed to MinneolaCares@minneola.us. The application process is simple and is estimated to take five minutes to complete. Late applications and incomplete applications cannot be accepted after the deadline.

Please call (352) 394-3598, 380 Monday - Friday from 10:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. or email MinneolaCares@minneola.us if you have any questions.

Again, the deadline for the Minneola grant is November 9th at 5:00 p.m. E.S.T.
