Artificial Turf to be Installed in Minneola's Dog Park

The Minneola C.R.A. has approved a project to install artificial turf in the large dog park at Trailhead Park.  The durable material is made specifically for use with pets and is non-toxic.  The project is expected to begin on or before December 1st and take two weeks to complete.  The project includes removing the existing mulch, adding a new base material, installing an airflow membrane, then placing the artificial turf.  The large dog park will be closed during installation.  The small dog park will remain open.
