All 16 library locations are closed until further notice as a precaution to help prevent the spread of the coronavirus disease (COVID-19). The public may contact any library location for updates and help using our online resources and digital catalog. If you currently don’t have a library card, but live in Lake County, you can get a free, temporary digital access card to download materials. Go to our website at mylakelibrary.org for instructions.

This new resource has thousands of free ebooks, audiobooks, educational videos, puzzles, games and more for children, teens and adults. No library card required. No checkout limits. No waiting periods. And no late fees - ever! Available 24/7 online through the Lake County Library System.
Also, Scholastic is providing free of charge, a cool remote learning tool. Try their “Learn at Home Link”: www.scholastic.com/learnathome.
In addition, First Book Marketplace is making available their free, online resources for kids from pre-k through 8th grade at www.fbmarketplace.org/free-resources/.
While the library is closed, all due dates on materials checked out will be automatically renewed and no fines will accrue. You do not need to return materials while we are closed, but if you wish to return them the Minneola Library book drop is open.
