Phase 2 of Lake County’s Resident Assistance Program is Now Open

Lake County is now accepting applications for Phase 2 of the Lake County Resident Assistance Program. Applications will be accepted through Monday, November 30, at 11:00 p.m. The program is funded by the Coronavirus Aid, Relief and Economic Security (CARES) Act and will assist residents who have been negatively impacted by COVID-19.

Eligible Lake County (and Minneola) residents may receive up to $4,000 in rent or mortgage assistance as reimbursement of funds already expended or as a direct payment to a lender or landlord for past due balances. The program has been modified. Past due mortgage or rent payments are no longer a requirement and there are no income limits for applicants. Additionally, the application process has been simplified and less documentation is required.

Applicants are encouraged to do the following prior to completing the application:

1. Visit https://www.elevatelake.com/reopen#cares and review the eligibility requirements.

2. Prepare and scan the required forms and documentation.

3. Visit https://lakecountyfl.submittable.com/submit to submit an application.

For additional assistance, please contact the program helpline at (877) 927-1057 Monday - Friday from 8:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.
