The Parks Department is dedicated to the planning, development, and maintenance of public parks and recreational facilities within the community. Its primary functions include creating and preserving green spaces, enhancing natural resources, and providing recreational opportunities for residents of all ages. By fostering a connection to nature and promoting active lifestyles, the Parks Department plays a vital role in enhancing the quality of life and well-being of the community.

Trailhead Park is a scenic gateway to outdoor recreation, offering walking trails, picnic areas, and beautiful green spaces for families and visitors to enjoy. This park also features a skate park, outdoor fitness area, a playground, and a BMX course.

The Minneola Athletic Complex, located in Minneola, is maintained by Lake County. This complex provides a state-of-the-art venue for various sports activities, featuring well-maintained fields and facilities that host local leagues and community events.
