CITY OF MINNEOLA HIRES A RECREATION COORDINATOR

With all the growth of Minneola and increasing need for more community events the city has hired a fulltime recreation coordinator. They will be tasked with handling our Kids’ Safe Night Out and Moonlight Christmas Parade. We have also asked them to start working on a few other projects including movie nights, future children’s summer camp, a farmer’s market, some live music with food truck vendors on occasion in the park as well as several other things. The biggest thing we will be starting to work on now is Minneola’s 100-year celebration. We will not be able to get all of these projects started this year but the new recreation coordinator is ready to hit the ground running.
